The Gerald F. Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose or poetry, authored by UMass students, nursing students, graduate students, residents, and fellows based at UMass Chan Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center, Worcester Medical Center/St. Vincent's or Baystate Medical Center.

 Submission Deadline: March 21, 2022

Are you ready for Love Data Week (February 14 – 18)? Join us in the Lamar Soutter Library for some opportunities to love your data! 

What is Love Data Week? It’s an international celebration of research data, designed to build awareness of the importance of data management, sharing, reuse, and preservation. Love Data Week 2022 is sponsored by ICPSR, with the theme “Data is for everyone”.  

LSL Artist in Residence Series presents: SOM Class Show 2022 Art Exhibit

As part of the Class of 2024’s initiative to make the class show more inclusive and representative of more student talent, we welcome you all to the first annual Class Show 2022 Art Exhibit. SOM students of all years have submitted paintings, drawings, poems, and photos for presentation in our art show. These pieces – some simple doodles and others intricate designs – represent artistic endeavors undertaken by students at some point during their medical school career.

Update on the Library Wi-Fi upgrade project d8_admin Tue, 12/07/2021 - 09:22

The Library Wi-Fi upgrade project continues this weekend (December 11-12) with work taking place on the 3rd floor from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

Also, installation of Wi-Fi units on the 1st floor still needs to be completed.

There may be significant noise while this work is occurring. Ear protection is available from the Library Service Point on the first floor.
