The Library will be closed on Monday, October 14 for Indigenous Peoples' Day.

The Lamar Soutter Library adds its congratulations to UMass Chan researcher Victor Ambros, PhD, for winning the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Dr. Ambros shares the prize with his colleague Gary Ruvkun, PhD, for their discovery of microRNA.

The Library's latest book display is in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Saturday, June 29, 2024, UMass Chan Facilities will be closing off a portion of the Library Parking Lot and Roof to move equipment up to the roof. In addition to these areas being unavailable, a section inside of the Library will also be restricted from use.

The Library Service desk will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in observance of Juneteenth.
