Library Wi-Fi network upgrade, March 4

UMass Chan IT department will be performing the Wi-Fi network upgrade for the new access point units that were recently installed in the Library. The cutover to the new network is planned for this Friday, March 4 at 6:00 p.m. IT will have staff and vendors onsite to support the cutover.

Change in Library service desk hours

Effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the Library service desk will be open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

UMass Chan/UMMHC badge access only to enter the library (24/7). At this time the library is not open to members of the public.

Update on the Library Wi-Fi upgrade project

The Library Wi-Fi upgrade project continues this weekend (December 11-12) with work taking place on the 3rd floor from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

Also, installation of Wi-Fi units on the 1st floor still needs to be completed.
