Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose, or poetry, authored by students, nursing students, graduate students, residents, and fellows based at UMass Chan Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center, Worcester Medical Center/St. Vincent's, or Baystate Medical Center, and this year we welcome UMass Chan Medical School’s newest regional medical campus, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

You’ve written your manuscript, now what? Join the librarians to explore tools available to identify target journals and understand criteria for journal selection. This webinar will also cover strategies to identify legitimate versus predatory open access publishers and other publication venues such as preprint servers and institutional repositories.

The Lamar Soutter Library adds its congratulations to UMass Chan researcher Victor Ambros, PhD, for winning the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Dr. Ambros shares the prize with his colleague Gary Ruvkun, PhD, for their discovery of microRNA.
