WDMS and the WDMS Alliance is collaborating with the Lamar Soutter Library at UMass Chan Medical School by hosting Dr. Mark Vonnegut, the author of The Heart of Caring, A Life in Pediatrics. Dr. Mark Vonnegut is a pediatrician at MVPediatrics Health and Wellness Center, Quincy, MA. Dr. Vonnegut will be speaking about his latest book and work as a pediatrician.

The UMass Chan Department of Radiology and the NeuroNexus Institute invite you to hear Scott Britz-Cunningham, MD, PhD discuss his recently published book, Interface. The talk and book signing event will be held at the Lamar Soutter Library on Friday, December 9 from 12-1:30 p.m.

Brief remarks will begin at 12:15 p.m. on “The Digital Leviathan,” about how information technology and social media are affecting our society and human nature itself, which inspired Dr. Britz-Cunningham to write Interface.
