In celebration of Native American Heritage month, the Library is exhibiting selections from its collection.

The Library Service desk will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022, in observance of Veterans Day.

UMass Chan/UMMHC ID access only to enter the library (24/7). The library is not open to members of the public at this time.

The Lamar Soutter Library presents the book display, "Tales That Chill," a collection of spooky tales for the Halloween season.

Effective October 31, 2022, the Library will be open Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The Library will remain closed Saturday and Sunday. Library doors will close 15 minutes prior to closing time.

The Library will be closed on Monday, October 10 to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day.

The Library is featuring another book display, "Cultural Competency & Clinical Care," a collection that emphasizes the necessity for understanding and appreciation of culture differences.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Library is exhibiting selections from its collection.

There will be a scheduled test of the school electrical switch gear on September 19th, beginning at 4:00 a.m. and ending at 7:00 a.m. This testing will cause momentary power interruptions. This may impact lighting in the building.

Beginning Friday evening, August 26th, Facilities will be performing floor maintenance in the A-level Animal Medicine Department for an upcoming inspection. This maintenance will include use of an epoxy or latex paint application to the floor surfaces.

The Library will be closed on Monday, September 5 for the Labor Day holiday.
