Graphic Medicine is the use of comics and graphic novels to explore experiences of health, illness, caregiving, and the culture of medicine. Combining words and sequential images, these works make complex ideas approachable and human stories vivid.
Region 7 of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) hosted at the UMass Chan Medical School is the recipient of an award (3UG4LM012347-06) to serve as the NNLM National Center for Data Services (NCDS) 2021-2026.
Recognizing the demand for study space and the popularity of the Library study carrels, the Lamar Soutter Library has set aside all study carrels on the 2nd and 3rd floors for individual student use.
The Lamar Soutter Library will be re-opening its doors on Monday, August 3, at 8:00 a.m. We are excited to be opening the Library space for your study needs.
As of 6:00 p.m. on March 13, 2020, the Lamar Soutter Library’s Service Desk is temporarily closing as part of the University’s request that non-essential staff work remotely until April 6, 2020.
