Reminder: MedMoth is back! Once again students, residents, and faculty will share their stories virtually THIS WEEK – THURSDAY OCTOBER 1 at 7:00 p.m. EDT. This is always a hit! I am sure there will be COVID stories.

Fire and Wood, a pyrography collection by fourth year medical student Zach Michaels, will be on display in the library throughout the end of October. Zach is taking a research year studying suicidality before applying to a psychiatry residency. About his collection, he says:

The Gerald F. Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose or poetry, authored by UMass students, nursing students, graduate students, residents, and fellows based at UMass Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center, Worcester Medical Center/St.

MedMoth is a live storytelling event based on The Moth podcast. Speakers will be from all levels of training and all three schools. The next MedMoth will be on Thursday, November 14 at 5:45 p.m. in the Albert Sherman Center multi-purpose room.
