Museum Passes

The library has passes for free or reduced admission to local museums. UMass Chan students, staff, faculty, and residents can check out one pass at a time with their library barcode. Passes are now available to:

  • Ecotarium (Worcester, MA) – One pass admits up to two adults and two children in one vehicle for half price. Children under two are free. Pass does not cover the Alden Digital Planetarium, Explorer Express Train or special ticketed events (the Library has about 75 one-time use passes).
  • The Museum of Russian Icons (Clinton, MA) – One pass admits up to six guests at free general admission (the Library has six passes).
  • New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill (Boylston, MA) – One pass admits two guests at half price admission. Children three and under are free (the Library has four passes).
  • Worcester Art Museum (Worcester, MA) – One pass admits up to two adults at half-price admission. Children 17 and under are free (the Library has four passes).

The passes are available from the library service desk on a first-come, first-served basis and are checked out for two days. Please visit each museum's website for the latest admission information and policies.
