Program Description
The Tandana Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports community initiatives in Ecuador's Otavalo Canton and Mali's Bandiagara District and offers intercultural volunteer experiences. One of these experiences is a healthcare volunteer venture, an opportunity to provide medical care to communities in the highlands of Ecuador.

Time Commitment
- The bi-annual trips are two weeks in the fall and two weeks in the spring. People can participate in one or both weeks. There are also longer term opportunities that are more in line with public health, which are flexible to the particular situation.
Language Requirement
- No language requirement but Spanish skills are advantageous. Knowledge of Kichwa is also a plus.
