LMI reduces maternal and child mortality through capacity building among physician extenders in remote areas of the Philippines. We teach nurses, midwives and other healthcare workers in prenatal care, point of care ultrasound and education of mothers. Opportunities consist of multiple week-long annual medical mission-based engagements in the Philippines.
