New A-Z Database list!

Friday, August 7, 2020 - 08:57

We’re excited to announce a new update to the LSL website: the A-Z Database list! The new list allows you to narrow down our list of 130+ databases by subject or by database type, which can really take some of the guessing out of your searching. We also included subjects based on your program of study, so you can see which databases your librarians think will serve you best. Still not sure where to start? You can easily reach out to a subject specialist right from within your search, either by using our Ask a Librarian chat, or contacting a librarian directly.

Murmurs: Stories from our Journey in Medicine. A podcast on Anchor

Thursday, June 4, 2020 - 09:09

This narrative medicine podcast explores how health providers and trainees think about their experiences in medicine. Not about how they make diagnoses, but how they relate to their patients and what makes them tick. Each episode interviews someone from UMass Medical School who has written a poem or essay to learn about them and their reflection. We hope this podcast inspires others to become more reflective practitioners as well. Reach us at murmursumassmed@gmail.com.
