"A Picture of Serenity" an art exhibit by Parijata Jain

Parijata believes being outside is good for the soul as reflected through her art, “I bring the inside out and outside in”.  Looking at Parijata’s creations, one can capture a serene sense of the artist, her surroundings, and her talent as she translates the positive energy of nature, and fittingly titled her exhibition “A Picture of Serenity”.

The Gerald F. Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose or poetry, authored by UMass medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, and nursing students in programs based at UMass Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center or Worcester Medical Center/St. Vincent's, or Baystate Medical Center.

Library Closed Tuesday, March 13, 2018

Due to the anticipated winter storm with significant snowfall and blizzard conditions, the Lamar Soutter Library will be closed Tuesday, March 13th. The UMass Medical School campuses will continue to maintain critical operations, however, all non-essential UMMS employees have been advised not to report to work.

As a reminder, the library is accessible 24/7 for eligible patrons using their ID badge.
