eScholarship@UMMS, UMass Medical School’s digital repository and publishing system for scholarly publications authored by the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) community, reached a significant milestone when it topped 2 million downloads on February 3, 2020. We are grateful to our UMMS authors, whose open access materials reach users in 225 countries.
Streams of Consciousness, the literary and photography journal of UMass Medical School, is now accepting submissions from students, staff, and patients of UMass Medical School and UMass Medical Center for the Spring 2020 volume.
The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2020 at midnight.
The journal will also be publishing the awardees of the 2020 Gerald F. Berlin Creative Writing Award.

The Gerald F. Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose or poetry, authored by UMass students, nursing students, graduate students, residents, and fellows based at UMass Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center, Worcester Medical Center/St. Vincent's or Baystate Medical Center.
