It is with great excitement and pleasure that the Lamar Soutter Library announces Jessica Kilham as our new Manager of the Library Education and Clinical Services department!

Jessica comes to us from the Edward and Barbara Netter Library, Quinnipiac University, where she served as the Research and Instruction Librarian for the School of Medicine. Previous to Quinnipiac, Jessica was the Information and Education Services Librarian at the Lyman Maynard Stowe Library, University of Connecticut, and provided clinical and research support services at John Dempsey Hospital and other clinical sites. One of her accomplishments while at Quinnipiac was the design, development, implementation, and assessment of the longitudinal information literacy program embedded into a medical school curriculum course. Jessica is active professionally in NEGEA, LiME, NAHSL, CAHSL and the CLC, and has presented and published widely.

As the Manager for the Education and Clinical Services department Jessica will lead and support the Library in developing and implementing innovative and effective services that support the educational and clinical mission of the University and UMass Memorial Medical Center. As one of the Library’s leaders, Jessica will be responsible for planning, setting goals and priorities, and designing and managing workflows of this department.
