The Network of the National Library of Medicine welcomes Bennie Finch to our staff as an Education and Outreach Coordinator. Bennie completed a MLIS at Southern Connecticut State University in May and also holds a MSW. She joins librarianship after working as a social worker with children, families, and early childhood education for a number of years.

Bennie interned with NNLM in the fall of 2020 with NER and MAR and her work focused on the #CiteNLM campaign. She also became involved with NAHSL and CAHSL as a student member.

Bennie is excited to join NNLM Region 7 where she looks forward to promoting equitable access to trusted health information and to being part of the Lamar Soutter Library community. Welcome Bennie!
