The Next Two Weeks in the Lamar Soutter Library:

Library Facilities Work 12/14 - 12/31

We are preparing to install a large piece of artwork on the 1st floor. During this time, you can expect:

Due to today's snowstorm, the Library Service desk will be closed Thursday, December 5th. Librarians are working remotely and can be reached using the Ask a Librarian service.

The Library Service Desk will be closed and library staff will be unavailable on November 28-29, 2024, for Thanksgiving.

The Lamar Soutter Library adds its congratulations to UMass Chan researcher Victor Ambros, PhD, for winning the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Dr. Ambros shares the prize with his colleague Gary Ruvkun, PhD, for their discovery of microRNA.

The Library's latest book display is in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
