Program Description
Working to improve community health in the Dominican Republic, Health Horizons International partners with the Dolores de la Cruz Maternidad hospital to operate primary health care clinics. HHI focuses on strengthening the primary care system and building local capacity for public health programs.

- Internships are available to graduate students as well as professionals in medicine, public health, international development, and related fields.
- Medical service trips are held several times throughout the year. Volunteer teams are comprised of clinicians, pharmacists, medical interpreters, students, community health workers, and public health educators.
