Per the directions of the University, the library staff will continue to work remotely until May 4, 2020. Our guiding principle is to support our students, faculty, staff, researchers, and clinicians, while protecting the health of our community. We continue to be flexible and in constant review of how our information services are provided. Library space and resources can be accessed 24/7 with a valid UMMS/UMMHC id and/or an EZproxy account.

As of 6:00 p.m. on March 13, 2020, the Lamar Soutter Library’s Service Desk is temporarily closing as part of the University’s request that non-essential staff work remotely until April 6, 2020. Our guiding principle is to support our students, faculty, staff, researchers, and clinicians, while protecting the health of our community. We will continue to be flexible and in constant review of how our information services are provided. Library space and resources can be accessed 24/7 with a valid UMMS/UMMHC id and a proxy account.

The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on President's Day, Monday, February 17, 2020.

The library is accessible 24/7 for eligible patrons using their ID badge.
