Priti is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Pathology at UMMS, and received an MD from India and a Masters in Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University prior to joining UMMS. Self-described as “a physician by training, a scientist by accident and a photographer by passion”, Priti pauses from her busy life and reconnects with nature through photography by capturing the simple things in life.  “A Walk Home” is an exhibit of images of New England, the coastlines of Nova Scotia, and locations abroad including the Himalayan mountain ranges in Nepal. Her photos have been highlighted by Nova Scotia Tourism, and the Digital Photo Academy.
