The Library Service Desk will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 17, 2022.

UMass Chan/UMMHC badge access only to enter the library (24/7). At this time the library is not open to members of the public.

Due to electrical testing by UMass Chan Facilities, all public and clinical computer workstations will be unavailable between 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5 through 7:30 a.m. Thursday, January 6.

Effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the Library service desk will be open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Library Wi-Fi upgrade project continues this weekend (December 11-12) with work taking place on the 3rd floor from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

Also, installation of Wi-Fi units on the 1st floor still needs to be completed.

The Diversity and Inclusion (DIO) Office at UMass Chan Medical School is hosting a Diversity Campus Read featuring Medical Apartheid by Harriet A. Washington and The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee.

Murmurs will be featuring an amazing line-up of providers and students from the UMass Chan Medical School community and the stories they've written about their experiences in and outside of medicine.

Wi-Fi service in the Library will be upgraded on three consecutive weekends from 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The dates are:

Library hours for the Thanksgiving 2021 holiday are as follows:

• Wednesday, November 24: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Thursday, November 25 & Friday, November 26: Closed

Regular hours resume on Monday, November 29.

The Library will be closed on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021.
