UMass Chan IT department will be performing the Wi-Fi network upgrade for the new access point units that were recently installed in the Library. The cutover to the new network is planned for this Friday, March 4 at 6:00 p.m. IT will have staff and vendors onsite to support the cutover.
Due to electrical testing by UMass Chan Facilities, all public and clinical computer workstations will be unavailable between 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5 through 7:30 a.m. Thursday, January 6.
The Library Wi-Fi upgrade project continues this weekend (December 11-12) with work taking place on the 3rd floor from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
Also, installation of Wi-Fi units on the 1st floor still needs to be completed.
The Diversity and Inclusion (DIO) Office at UMass Chan Medical School is hosting a Diversity Campus Read featuring Medical Apartheid by Harriet A. Washington and The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee.
Murmurs will be featuring an amazing line-up of providers and students from the UMass Chan Medical School community and the stories they've written about their experiences in and outside of medicine.
