Create Alerts
Date:
If you want to keep up to date on the latest research on a topic, the newest article written by a colleague, or even when a paper of yours is cited, there are several tools at your disposal through the Lamar Soutter Library.
PubMed
After you create a NCBI account (it's free!), you can run the search of your choice, whether it be for an author, keyword, or more complex search string. Then, click on the "Create Alert" under the search bar, and choose frequency, day, format, and number of items to be delivered electronically.
Scopus
You will also need to create an account (again, free!) after you authenticate as a UMass Chan user. Scopus offers similar features to PubMed for delivery frequency, as well as additional searches for organizations and ORCID. Choose your search catergory, run your search, and look for the bell icon to set a search alert.
