Join us for the Gerald F. Berlin Prize for Creative Writing Award Ceremony and Readings on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 12:00 – 1:30, in Amphitheater III (S6-102). Bring your own lunch, desserts will be provided.

The Artist in Residence Series Presents “Discovering Architecture: A Visual Exploration of Our Built Environment” by Ryan Hacker, Exhibiting March 31 - July 28, 2017.

The Gerald F. Berlin Prize is awarded for creative writing, prose or poetry, written by UMass medical students, nursing students, graduate students, residents, and fellows based at UMass Medical School, Berkshire Medical Center or Worcester Medical Center/St. Vincent's.

Join us as Dr. Hatch, author of Snowball in a Blizzard, will talk about how he came to write his book and discuss the effects of uncertainty in the practice of medicine.
