LSL Artist-in-Residence Series Presents: Student Art Showcase

Our new Artist-in-Residence exhibit, the Student Art Showcase, is on display in the Lamar Soutter Library now through July 2024.

The Student Art Showcase combines pieces created by medical students enrolled in the Art for the Physician Optional Enrollment Elective (OEE) and pieces created by GSBS student Serena David.

Please reach out to Rebecca Drouhard if you are interested in displaying your artwork in the library.

Library book display for Mental Health Awareness Month, 2024 d8_admin Mon, 05/13/2024 - 11:05

In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Library is exhibiting selections from its collection. The list of e-books and print books is available at https://libraryguides.umassmed.edu/book-displays/mentalHealth_24. Print books are on display throughout the first floor of the Library.

Construction on the Library Roof Saturday, May 11, 4am-5pm grynochc Wed, 05/08/2024 - 16:25

On Saturday, May 11, 2024, UMass Chan Facilities will be closing off a portion of the Library Parking Lot and Roof to move equipment up to the roof. In addition to these areas being unavailable, a section inside of the Library will also be restricted from use.

The Library Service desk will be closed for the Patriots' Day holiday on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Eligible UMass Chan/UMMHC badge access only to access the library (24/7). At this time the library is not open to members of the public.

The library will be hosting two Introduction to R and R Studio workshops this month as part of the Library Seminar Series for Researchers.
