The Lamar Soutter Library is offering access to a new and improved interface to RefWorks. RefWorks is a bibliographic management program that is free to users at U Mass Medical School and U Mass Memorial Medical Center.
From this page, use the top link on the left to open a new account. Use the lower to access existing accounts.
Until August 2016 both the new and "legacy" versions of RefWorks will be available. By August 15, all legacy accounts will need to be transferred to new accounts, a very easy process outlined below.
1. You can register for a new account by going to: http://refworks.proquest.com At this link, you need to be on campus and use your institutional email address.
2. If you are unable to create an account on campus, email Tori Rossetti at victoria.rossetti@umassmed.edu
You can transfer your RefWorks library from your legacy account http://www.refworks.com Legacy accounts will be available only for an indefinite time so it is recommended that you import your references into your new account.
Sign into your new account, click on the + sign, and from the drop down box, choose "import references" which then will prompt you to open your legacy account to transfer your references to your new account.
