The Self-Service Team is to identify LSL services which could be transformed from mediated services to unmediated services in order to free staff resources for other projects/tasks. The team will address both process and security issues associated with each identified service. Topics to address include, but are not limited to, the following:
- security of collections, equipment, and staff work areas
- staffing
- accessing collections:
- reserve collection
- location
- electronic reserves
- faculty copies
- equipment
- book and journal collection
- RBR
- self-checkout
- reserve collection
