Charge

The purpose of the Cumulus Implementation Task Force is to work with Academic Computing and University of Massachusetts Medical School faculty to create, index, and maintain a database of web accessible images using the Cumulus software. Library task force members will solicit images from faculty for deposit into the database, design standards for digitizing, housing and storaging images, assist faculty in digitizing images when feasible, adhere to copyright laws, promote access and use of the database, catalog the images, and train users on how to use the images in their teaching files.
