The Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) has become an increasingly important tool for health care providers. Practitioners can now carry drug, differential diagnosis, symptom and evidence-based information with them portably. They can also use a PDA as a schedule/calendar/contact information resource and as a place to easily record memos and other non patient-specific information. UMMS and GSN now require students in the clinical years of their program to use a PDA. Below are listed a) required clinical years resources, b) recommended but not required resources and c) other PDA resources available for SOM/GSN students and other UMMS/UMMHC students and staff.
