The UMMS Chapter of Gold Humanism Honor Society is having a Celebration of Creativity writing contest highlighting examples of humanism in medicine, and all within the UMMS community are welcome to submit!

We are inviting all within the UMMS community to submit essays in any format on experiences with humanism in medicine by February 16th to ghhs@umassmed.edu. There is no word limit, structure requirement, or citation requirement—just write about a time that you practiced, observed, or felt an example of humanism. Please avoid using patient identifying information.

Winners will be announced February 18th, and first and second place will receive gift certificates to Bedlam Books. All submissions will be offered publication in the Interstitium. Any questions can be directed to Megan Hansen.
