Global Medic Force
Program Description

Global Medic Force engages healthcare professionals to rapidly transfer their medical skills and clinical expertise to colleagues in developing countries. The organization takes a clinical mentoring approach in which it deploys medical teams in response to requests from underserved hospitals and clinics internationally.

Types of opportunities:

  • Doctors, nurses, physician assistance, nurse practitioners, social workers, and pharmacists serve as clinical mentors throughout the globe. Global Medic Force clinical mentors work in a wide number of fields including primary care, HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, and pediatrics among many others.
