1997 MAHSLIN SALARY SURVEY PREVIEW
In late January, survey questionnaires were sent to 162 current MAHSLIN members. 102 have responded (about 63%). Two came in too late to be included in the tabulation and analysis.
Bonnie Hsu has compiled six tables from the data. Three tables are included as appendices to this newsletter. A complete report with all six tables and comments will be distributed at the MAHSLIN Annual Meeting on April 29. It is hoped that the results will provide the members with useful information.
We thank you for your enthusiastic response. If you have any questions, please contact Bonnie Hsu [Tel: 508-961-5267; email: UBH0341@SLH.ORG].
MAHSLIN WWW HOMEPAGE
The MAHSLIN homepage is now up on the WWW at http://nnlmner.uchc.edu/nahsl/mahslin.html
The site includes information on the Executive Board and Committee chairs, subscribing to MAHSLIN-L , the annual meeting, membership, and a mission statement. At this time, Joe Harzbecker does not have direct access to the server for editing purposes, and is relying on the good will of Mark Gentry, who is our intermediary from NAHSL. More work will be done on the page to make corrections and additions as the year progresses, and it is hoped that siting issues will be resolved soon.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please send them to Joe Harzbecker at: harzbeck@bu.edu.
