BASIC HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY NETWORK (BHSL)
The Basic Health Sciences Library Network (BHSL) is a network of health science libraries and college libraries within Region 1 and Region 8 of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) whose goal is to increase free reciprocal interlibrary loans beyond the boundaries of state lines.
The eligibility requirements for BHSL include participation in DOCLINE, biannual submission of interlibrary loan statistics, and agreeing to fill interlibrary loan requests to other BHSL libraries at no charge. Libraries may join at any time of the year and there is no longer a fee for membership.
