ELEANOR C. CAIRNS DISTINGUISHED HSLIC

LIBRARIAN AWARD 2010 NOMINATION

 HSLIC members are invited to nominate a fellow HSLIC member for this award to demonstrate appreciation of exceptional contributions to HSLIC, to the recipient’s own institution and community, or to the library profession. Nominations will be accepted beginning in January and will be reviewed by the HSLIC Executive Committee in the spring. The Executive Committee will select a nominated member and the award will be presented at the annual awards ceremony held by the Maine Hospital Association.

Please consider the following:
· advocacy or service in the library profession
· leadership, support, contribution and commitment to HSLIC
· leadership in administration, technology, or education
· authorship, research, teaching, or other educational contributions
· inspiration to others in the library field
