Happy Copley has been an active and involved member of HSLIC since she joined the organization nearly 15 years ago. She has ably filled many positions on the board, including several years as a Region Rep, and Secretary, and has written many, many of our Profiles in the HSLIC Newsletter. Her cheerful efficiency has made her one of the real backbones of the organization. On the North Atlantic Health Science Libraries (NAHSL) board, Happy moved from HSLIC rep to Secretary, meanwhile serving twice as Hospitality Chair when NAHSL was held in Maine in 1999 and 2004. Most recently she has confirmed her own dedication to medical library professionalism by achieving membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals. Happy is a model of friendship, energy, and professionalism, and is a most worthy recipient of the Cairns Award.
