Level I Library Assistant
The Lamar Soutter Library at the University of Massachusetts Medical School has a Level I Library Assistant position open. This position works under the direction of the Head of Technology Initiatives and is responsible for providing comprehensive multi-platform computer support for the Lamar Soutter Library staff and patrons. Staff in this area of responsibility maintain and support public use machines and library related software and equipment, as well as staff workstations. This department also is responsible for the digitization of library materials and coordinates activities with the Information Services Department. Those with strong computer and graphic skills are encouraged to apply. Although this position is based in the Technology Initiatives department, the person will be cross-trained to work in other areas such as ILL and circulation. Work schedule is Sunday - Thursday. Working one night per week and being part of a rotation schedule is required.
