Cancer Resource Library – Access is freely available to all. A portal to sources of information on cancer produced by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
CancerLit – Access is freely available to all. Links from the National Cancer Institute to perform cancer-related searches in PubMed.
Catalog of U.S. Government Publications – Access is freely available to all. A searchable database of federal publications that includes descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online.
CDC Wonder – Access is freely available to all. A portal of links to a wide variety of reports and numeric public health data.
CINAHL – Access is restricted to UMMS/UMMHC workstations or by proxy service. CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health) provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. More than 1600 journals are regularly indexed.
Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials – Access is restricted to UMMS/UMMHC workstations or by proxy service. CCRCT is a database of definitive clinical trials identified by the Cochrane Collaboration. Only randomized control trials and/or controlled clinical trials are included.
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews – Access is restricted to UMMS/UMMHC workstations or by proxy service. Articles focus on randomized control trials, controlled clinical trials, products of evidence-based review by ACP Journal Club or National Health Services.
Cochrane Library (Cochrane Collaboration) – Access is restricted to UMMS/UMMHC workstations or by proxy service. Collection of six databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making, and a seventh database that provides information about groups in The Cochrane Collaboration.
CPDB (Carcinogenic Potency Database) – Access is freely available to all. A searchable database of quantitative and qualitative analyses of published literature relating to chronic, long-term animal cancer tests. Contains materials published through 1997/98 by the National Cancer Institute and the National Toxicology Program.
Current Index to Statistics – Access is restricted to UMMS/UMMHC workstations or by proxy service. Bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields, from 1974-present.
