Directions
The Lamar Soutter Library is located on the first floor of the Medical School building at 55 Lake Avenue North in Worcester, Massachusetts 01655. The Medical School is accessible from several major highways:
From the Mass Pike (Interstate 90):
- Take I-290 east to exit 21
- Turn right at the end of the ramp and follow Plantation Street south for about one mile
- Turn left at the third traffic light and proceed two blocks
- Public parking is located in the garage on the right
- Turn left onto Route 122 north for one mile
- At the third light turn right onto Sunderland road
- At the first light turn left onto Lake Avenue for 2.5 miles and cross Route 9
- Make a U-turn at the second break in the divider, then immediately bear right onto campus
- Public parking is located in the garage on the left
- Take Route 9 west for approximately 10 miles
- After crossing the Lake Quinsigamond bridge, take the first right onto Lake Avenue
- Make a U-turn at the second break in the divider, then immediately bear right onto campus
- Public parking is located in the garage on the left
- Take I-290 west to exit 22
- Turn right at the end of the ramp
- At the second traffic light turn left onto Plantation Street and proceed south for about 1.5 miles
- Turn left at the third traffic light and proceed two blocks
- Public parking is located in the garage on the right
- Take the I-290 Shrewsbury exit (watch for the exit ramp on the left!)
- Take I-290 east to exit 21
- Turn right at the end of the ramp and follow Plantation Street south for about one mile
- Turn left at the third traffic light and proceed two blocks
- Public parking is located in the garage on the right
- At exit 21, turn right at the end of the ramp and follow Plantation Street south for about one mile
- Turn left at the third traffic light and proceed two blocks
- Public parking is located in the garage on the right
- At exit 22, turn right at the end of the ramp
- At the second traffic light turn left onto Plantation Street and proceed south for about 1.5 miles
- Turn left at the third traffic light and proceed two blocks
- Public parking is located in the garage on the right
